Blizzard once again proved they don't know, or perhaps don't care what their fan base desires by announcing the next expansion for World of Warcraft Classic.

World of Warcraft Classic proved to be one of the rare steps in the right direction that Blizzard pulled in the last decade but they were initially opposed to the idea.

Thankfully, someone had the good sense to use the idea that hit them square in the face and Classic was born.

During BlizzCon 2023, the company once again reiterated they have no idea why people like World of Warcraft as they announced Cataclysm, the expansion that was almost universally hated back in the day.

Most players replied they just want vanilla or vanilla to Wrath of the Lich King servers but for now, it is falling on deaf ears.

The way things stand now, Blizzard is probably on track to release an expansion not many want, the sales and subscriptions will fall and then they will fire a bunch of people to cut costs after terrible decision-making.

However, there is one bright side to this whole mess, as the trailer seems to have been made by Hurricane, one of the most beloved content creators in the community.

Since this is a trailer for an official product, it means Blizzard actually hired him and now he is the sole bright spot in the impending catastrophe.
