Survivalist aesthetic fans in Valorant rejoice, for this October will bring back one of the game’s earliest cosmetic bundles: Wasteland 2.0. The original Wasteland bundle of skins was one of the most popular with players early on, and for good reason; Riot was among the first to give weapons that post-apocalyptic, scrapyard-cobbled-together look and feel.
Valorant's first Wasteland bundle of cosmetics showed off its core aesthetic by presenting several of the game's agents with weapons that were visibly scavenged and assembled in a junkyard. Riot is dusting off the toolkits and welding masks for a second time, with an updated aesthetic: Wasteland 2.0.
Weapons in the Wasteland 2.0 bundle are going to feature newer models with sharper detailing and new design elements, with the "survivor-crafted" aesthetic being expanded upon in the process. Riot has not made an official announcement about the bundle yet, but leaks have provided fans with their first comprehensive look at the bundle’s design, price tier, and window for its release.
Wasteland 2.0 Skin Design – First Look
The Wasteland 2.0 bundle maintains the scrapyard aesthetic. Every weapon is made to look like it’s been scavenged, and most have some band-aid fixes to prop them up.
The design focuses on a few key features:
- Rusted metals and duct-taped grips that emphasize the handmade feel.
- Exposed bolts, jagged plates, and rough textures across each weapon.
- Red and blue accents that pop against the muted steel base.
- Melee weapon resembling a survival tool—part hook, part jagged blade.
The bundle includes the following weapons:
- Vandal
- Phantom
- Operator
- Judge
- Melee (hook/saw hybrid)
Wasteland 2.0 Bundle Price
Riot Games hasn’t confirmed the pricing yet, but leaks put Wasteland 2.0 in the Deluxe Edition price range.
Here are the prices to expect:
- Full Bundle: around 5,100 VP
- Individual Weapons: around 1,275 VP each
- Melee: around 2,550 VP
When is Wasteland 2.0 Releasing?
Leaks have indicated that the Wasteland 2.0 bundle will be released in early October 2025, as it cycles into the VALORANT store as the featured bundle. Riot has not yet solidified the date but it will be released soon after the current featured bundle cycle completes.
As is the case with all VALORANT skins, the actual availability window could move slightly up or down based on Riot’s schedule for updates but early October is the expected window.
