VALORANT could be teasing another limited-time shop, but this time things get a little weirder than usual. Rumoured files obtained by dataminers apparently include details on an unrevealed system nicknamed “Soup” internally by developers, featuring its own menu tab, icon, and set of offers.
Details on Soup come from VALORANT dataminer valohabercisi. They said that Riot added files relating to Soup along with associated background assets in past updates. The feature is unrevealed by Riot, so it’s unclear if players will ever see Soup or what its intended purpose is.
However, the files show Riot developed support for adding individual cosmetics and cosmetic bundles to Soup, along with support for a unique Soup ingredient mechanic involving several food-themed ingredients.
Soup apparently has its own “SoupOfferDTO” type for offers, and includes a means to track which offers a player has seen. That further implies Soup will operate as its own storefront. Players will probably switch between Soup and the regular shop at some capacity.
Files also hint Soup will only be available for a limited time. Naturally, players are comparing Soup to VALORANT’s permanent rotating shop Night Market, but players haven’t found any concrete connections between Soup and discounted weapon skins just yet.
Players also found several ingredient-related values in game files:

- CHICKEN_NOODLE
- CHILI
- GUMBO
At this time, it’s unclear what players can do with these ingredients. Files hint that players may interact with these in some capacity before getting or generating an offer from Soup, but we don’t know how that system works just yet.
Soup’s food theme strangely connects with one of VALORANT’s new cosmetics. Several food-and-café themed items are shown in promotional images for the Season 26 Act V Battle Pass.
