Riot Games hasn’t made an official announcement regarding its release, but datamined files show that the bundle is coming to VALORANT soon.
The original Prelude to Chaos bundle was an instant hit upon its release. Praised by players and critics alike, its premium look, over-the-top animations, and unique weapon finishers were what made it a fan-favorite. With Riot Games constantly bringing back older skin lines with updated 2.0 releases, Prelude to Chaos 2.0 has been highly anticipated by fans.

What Is Prelude to Chaos 2.0?
VALORANT has a whole new bundle coming in the form of Prelude to Chaos 2.0.
The Prelude to Chaos 2.0 bundle:
- Updated visual effects and animations
- Potentially new color variants
- Refined finishers and premium skin details
A Look Back at the Original Prelude to Chaos
The original Prelude to Chaos bundle debuted in Patch 5.0 and included:
- Weapon skins for the Shorty, Stinger, Vandal, and Operator
- A melee weapon called the Blade of Chaos
- Additional sprays and gun buddies
The full bundle was priced at 8,700 VP, with individual weapons costing around 2,175 VP each and the melee at 4,350 VP. These prices set the standard for what players can expect with the upcoming 2.0 release.
Prelude to Chaos 2.0 Price
Based on previous bundles, the new release will likely follow a similar pricing structure:
- Bundle price: Expected around 8,700 VP, though slightly higher is possible if Riot includes premium upgrades.
- Individual weapons: Likely 2,000–2,500 VP each.
- Melee weapon: Expected to remain at a premium cost, close to 4,350 VP.
Prelude to Chaos 2.0 Release Date
As for a specific release date, Riot has remained silent so far but given the teasers that were leaked, the Prelude to Chaos 2.0 bundle is most likely going to be included in the next patch cycle. Meaning that the bundle will be available in the Featured Store within the next few weeks.
As is the case with all VALORANT bundles, the Prelude to Chaos 2.0 will only be featured for a limited time, and post its featured run, it is possible that the individual skins could be featured in daily offers or possibly future Night Market rotations.
