Riot Games thanked the Valorant players who participated in the Premier Open Beta as they were very much responsible for seeing the tournament mode to its best version to date, and also the same version that is coming to live servers.
In any case, Premier's Ignition Stage is starting on July 20, 2023, leaving you with roughly nine days before it starts again.
The teams' match history will not carry over and you will have to start from scratch. You will also have an opportunity to choose a brand-new team name. Once it's done, you can't change it so choose carefully!
As of publishing this article, enrollment is open and it will remain that way until July 20, which is the first day of the tournament. With that in mind, it may be for the best to get these affairs in order ahead of time to avoid potential scheduling issues.
This stage of the tournament will run through August 12 and playoffs will happen one day later, on August 13, 2023.
Earning a score of 375 will be the prerequisite to qualify and have the chance to be crowned one of the best teams in the Division, which will award the Premier Champion title and a gun buddy.
After Ignition, the match history and team rosters will carry over.
While Premier news took the spotlight of the latest patch notes, it is worth noting that in-game bans were added for repeated AFK, friendly fire and queue dodges in Competitive and Unrated modes.
Additionally, people who get muted in real-time will be voice-muted for the duration of the match.
