League of Legends is known for its frequent updates and patch schedule, ensuring the game remains fresh and balanced. Throughout Season 13, Riot Games has followed a consistent schedule of releasing patches roughly every two weeks. In total, there are expected to be around 23 to 24 patches in this season.
Each patch brings a range of updates, including champion buffs or nerfs, item and rune changes, and the release of new skins. Occasionally, reworks or mini-reworks are also introduced alongside these balance adjustments. The changes introduced in previous patches, such as the Aurelion Sol CGU and Azir rework, have significantly influenced the current meta in the game.
The first four patches of Season 13 have already been released: Patch 13.11, Patch 13.11B, Patch 13.13, and Patch 13.14. Patch 13.15 is currently undergoing testing and will be the fifth patch of the season. Patch 13.11B was released as a replacement for Patch 13.12 due to a social engineering attack that caused some disruptions.
