Codemasters' Formula 1 game F1 2021 has stayed at No.1 spot for the third consecutive week on the UK pshyical sales charts, despite a 30 per cent drop in sales week-on-week.
In our review, we wrote that F1 2021 is probably the best Formula 1 game so far despite minor improvements over the last year's instalment. With the new Braking Point mode and some other additions, F1 2021 has managed to offer a fresh take on its iconic gameplay, which offers dozens and to some hundreds of hours of fun.
In terms of reception, the game received positive reviews and it seems that the sale numbers are also looking good for Codemasters and EA.
According to GfK data, F1 2021 has stayed No.1 for the third consecutive week on UK physical sales chart. The Formula 1 sim game had a 30 per cent drop in physical sales week-on-week but the drop wasn't that big so it stayed ahead of Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, which is on the second spot, reports gamesindusty.biz.
The biggest riser of the week is SEGA's official Olympics game, which jumped to No.3 after a big, 43 per cent boost in sales. Another Olympics game Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 took a dip in sales by 13 per cent but retained its No.17 spot on the chart.
