Next month, Codemasters is releasing F1 23, the latest installment in its popular racing game series. The game includes the return of Braking Point, the introduction of F1 World, and new features such as Red Flags and 35% Race Distance.
PC gamers can enjoy ray-tracing and VR, which is not available on PlayStation VR2, without needing high-end hardware. The updated Steam page lists the minimum hardware requirements, which include an Intel Core i3-2130 or AMD FX 4300, 8 GB RAM, and an Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti or AMD RX 470.
To use ray-tracing, a GeForce RTX 2060 or Radeon RX 6700 XT is required, while VR requires an Intel Core i5-9600k or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X and GeForce GTX 1660 Ti or Radeon RX 590.

For an optimal gaming experience, it is recommended to have a Core i5 9600K or Ryzen 5 2600X processor, 16 GB RAM, and a GeForce GTX 1660 Ti or AMD RX 590 graphics card.
Those interested in VR will require a GeForce RTX 2070 or Radeon RX 6700 XT, while ray-tracing requires a GeForce RTX 3070 or Radeon RX 6800. However, the hardware requirements for playing F1 23 at 4K/60 FPS with ray-tracing enabled are still unknown.
