Ubisoft have officially announced that their annual showcase Ubisoft Forward is returning this year on June 10, 2024. The event will be held in Los Angeles, California but players all over the world will be able to watch it on the publisher's official channels like Twitch, YouTube and social media platforms.
Ubisoft did not share any other additional information but they did tease the event a bit, saying players should expect updates on existing games but also major upcoming releases.
What can we expect to see at Ubisoft Forward 2024?
Assassin's Creed Codename Red, which is set in Japan is almost certain to be at the show. We expect to finally see the first gameplay and also hear about the release date and platforms.
In addition, the next Ghost Recon game might also be revealed as rumours have been swirling around about that one for a while.
It's safe to assume that Ubisoft have a bunch of other, unannounced projects that they want to show for the first time this year so we're quite looking forward to see what their internal studios have been cooking lately.
Ubisoft usually like to announce their biggest titles at Ubisoft Forward but sometimes, they save some of the reveals for other shows. Massive Entertainment's Star Wars Outlaws which was first announced at Xbox Showcase 2023 is one of the best examples of that.
All in all, Ubisoft always put up a good show and this time around it probably won't be different. Once again, summer is shaping up to be quite spectacular for video games as Xbox also confirmed their big showcase will return in June while Sony probably also plan their big event for the next months.
