Thanks to the latest DLC The Warden and the Paunch, Creative Assembly's fantastic strategy title Total War: Warhammer II is more popular than ever before. The game has reached a new record in all-time peak, which currently sits at 84,254.
This is a significant increase in player numbers from the last record (72,112) which was reached shortly after the game launched in 2017. Furthermore, the game doubled its April 2020 all-time peak, which is 48,740. Check out the numbers in the screenshot below or Steam Charts website.
This is certainly a well-deserved reward for the developer Creative Assembly who have been working hard on post-launch content, keeping the game alive for more than two years. Total War: Warhammer II introduced a total of seventeen DLCs, both paid and free. These expansions added a ton of content including new playable races, lords, units, factions and a lot more.
The game currently has very positive reviews on Steam, with 94 out of 100 score and it is available exclusively on PC.
