Creative Assembly's strategy Total War: Warhammer II has reached a new record in peak players over at Steam. Two years and seven months after its release the game has hit 84,254 players, its highest peak ever.
Thanks to the latest DLC The Warden and the Paunch, Creative Assembly's fantastic strategy title Total War: Warhammer II is more popular than ever before. The game has reached a new record in all-time peak, which currently sits at 84,254.
This is a significant increase in player numbers from the last record (72,112) which was reached shortly after the game launched in 2017. Furthermore, the game doubled its April 2020 all-time peak, which is 48,740. Check out the numbers in the screenshot below or Steam Charts website .
This is certainly a well-deserved reward for the developer Creative Assembly who have been working hard on post-launch content, keeping the game alive for more than two years. Total War: Warhammer II introduced a total of seventeen DLCs, both paid and free. These expansions added a ton of content including new playable races, lords, units, factions and a lot more.
The game currently has very positive reviews on Steam, with 94 out of 100 score and it is available exclusively on PC.
