Creative Assembly and Sega have announced a new paid DLC for Total War Warhammer II named The Warden and the Paunch. This update introduced two new Legendary Lords for the Greenskins and High Elves races.
Total War Warhammer II's upcoming DLC The Warden & The Paunch is set to introduce a fresh batch of both free and paid content, which includes new units, Legendary Lords and more.
The two new Lords are for the Greenskins and High Elves races, both featuring in an interwoven campaign that culminates in an epic showdown that will determine the future of the fabled Kingdom of Yvresse.
Warlord Grom or Grom The Paunch is described as both bloated and unstoppable, blessed with supreme power, he is the only Greenskins warlord to ever successfully invade the home of the High Elves.
On the other side, Eltharion, Prince of Yvresse is vengeance incarnate and will do all that he can to protect Yvresse from the forthcoming green tide.
New units that are coming in the update include the Arch Mage and Giant River Troll Hag, devastating ground troops such as magical Rogue Idols, the majestic Arcane Phoenix, and the deadly War Lions of Chrace.
As for the free content, Prince Imrik of Caledor will be available to all Total War Warhammer II players.
Last but not least, alongside this DLC pack, This Old World Update will also arrive, consisting of considerable quality of life improvements to the Greenskin faction including improvements to the WAAAGH! mechanic and much more.
The Warden and the Paunch is set to release on 21 May 2020.
