Total War: Warhammer III's Slaanesh is a playable race all about desire, pain and excess. The race specialises in picking off isolated enemies or units.

Fans of Total War: Warhammer III , meet Slaanesh, the baby among the Chaos Gods dedicated to chasing down excess, debauchery, pain and perfection at any cost. Such is the curse of the youngest. Slaanesh will soon appear on the battlefield so we now bring you a brief introduction to the myth.

Slaanesh Legendary Lord - N’Kari

When on the battlefield, N’Kari is a swift and cruel Exalted Daemon that is in his element while hunting isolated characters and units. His passive ability, Harvester of Souls, will heal the Lord whenever an enemy unit expires nearby. The Willing Prey ability greatly reduces enemy melee defence and attack.

Slaanesh Playstyle

Slaaneshi Daemons prefer the guerilla notes of hit and run warfare before they too isolate an enemy unit to deal the final blow. Slaaneshi Daemon armies earn battle currently by killing routing units. The currency can be used up on three abilities that highlight their playstyle.

Slaaneshi Daemons -mechanics:

  • Gifts of Slaanesh: Lords and Heroes of Slaanesh can impart gifts on enemy characters by defeating them in battle or through hero actions, thus imposing a bundle of negative effects on the unit.
  • Seduction: By increasing seductive influence, the forces of Slaanesh can forcibly vassalise a target faction.
  • Devotees: Slaaneshi armies can capture Devotees from battles, from Chaos cults, and through other acts. Devotees are used for creating cults, the raising of Disciple Armies, and creating vassals.

Slaanesh Roster

Slaaneshi Daemons don't operate as a decentralised army. They also have commanders in the imperious Keepers of Secrets and the Herald of Slaanesh, the core of their army is formed around Daemonettes and Fiends, leaving the agile Heartseekers and Hellstriders to provide quick cavalry support.
