Valve announced a few events for the participants of The International 2023 which will unfold over the course of two weeks for the most part.
Dota 2's biggest tournament of the year will apparently have more than three activities although that is how many have been revealed thus far as the organisers are probably trying to avoid spoiling the fun ahead of time.
The three events are Pubstomps, Short Film Contest and Cosplay Contest.
Pubstomps are making a debut this year and the event remains a bit of an enigma despite the announcement. Apparently, it will feature pubstomps from all over the world but more details will be revealed closer to The International broadcast.
The other two events are kind of self-explanatory. The Short Film Contest will focus on the best of the best when it comes to filmmaking experiences in Dota 2. Currently, there are about 20 films in the running for the prizes. TI2023 visitors will be able to vote for the best from September 29 to October 9, 2023.
Finally, there is the Cosplay Contest for which you can still sign up, at least until Sunday, October 1, 2023. Since SteelSeries is sponsoring it, the contestants can look forward to winning some of the company's gear on top of the $20,000 cash prize pool.
