Dota 2: DPC 2023 start date and where to watch

Dota 2 esports fans can now start planning their schedules as all the starting dates have been revealed along with future matchups.

Valve revealed the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) will start on Sunday, January 8, 2023, for most regions. Meanwhile, regional play has already started in China.

Ehome, PSG LGD and Team Aster had already taken the first wins be the time of writing but most of the season can still be watched live, provided you can keep up with the time zone.

On top of that, any matches that you may have missed can be rewatched through various VoD sites so you don't actually miss out on anything.

As for the formats and what gets teams into The International, there are three Major tournaments during the year.

Winter Tour will be the first tournament that will see the best teams moving on to the Lima Major, which is hosted by 4D Esports.

Spring Tour will similarly advance into Berlin Major, hosted by ESL.

Summer Tour will be the icing on the cake and it will then proceed to Bali Major, hosted by IO Esports.

As per usual, the fans can support their favourite teams and purchasing packs themed after the organisation, which will lead to increasing amount of loot for the fans and 50 per cent of the proceeds going to the team.
