Embark Studios have dropped a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming free-to-play shooter The Finals, confirming the closed beta dates.
The Finals is entering the beta stage and yes, you will get to play it very soon if you're lucky since developer Embark Studios have announced a two-week closed beta test for their free-to-play shooter.
The closed beta will start on March 7. Sadly, Embark did not share many details so we don't really know how many maps will be in the beta or what type of weapons we'll test.
If you want to sign up for the beta, you can do that on Steam . Simply go The Finals Steam page and click on the "Request Access" button under the "Join the The Finals Playtest".
The Finals still does not have a release date but given that the devs are hosting a closed beta test soon, we presume it's only a matter of time before Embark announce the release date. If we had to guess, we'd say The Finals is probably coming in the second half of 2023.
If you're unfamiliar with the game, it's a fast-paced hero shooter with stunning visuals and fully destructible environments. The concept revolves around a game show called The Finals, where players fight in virtual arenas to win tournaments.
The Finals is coming to PC , Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S , PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Embark also have another free-to-play shooter in the works. Dubbed Arc Raiders , it's a third-person cooperative shooter set in a massive open world crawling with mechanized threats descending from space. You can read more about Arc Raiders here.
