ARC Raiders is heading towards its fifth major content update. While the game's content run has become quite stalled with delayed content drops, Embark Studios are moving ahead with their 2026 roadmap.
The third phase of the 2026 phase 1 roadmap, Flashpoint, is the next major update for ARC Raiders. With this new update, Embark brings a new ARC enemy update, map condition, player project, and changes to Scrappy. Here's a complete overview of everything we know about the Shrouded Sky update coming to ARC Raiders.
Everything We Know About the ARC Raiders Flashpoint Update
The Flashpoint update is the fifth major update for ARC Raiders, as mentioned in the game's 2026 Q1 roadmap. The update will launch on March 31, 2026, across all platforms alongside the weekly hotfix and trials.
New ARC Threat: Vaporizer
A new flying ARC type has been spotted stalking the areas around the operation. Already earning notoriety among Raiders for its devastating laser attacks and idiosyncratic attack patterns called the Vaporizer.
New Weapons and Items
Tian Wen keeps to herself, but even she has been uniquely isolated in recent weeks. Sounds of welding and cursing from her workshop have been heard late into the night as she attempts to forge new weaponry and gadgets. It’s time to find the blueprints and give them a go yourself.
- Canto: The Canto is a submachine gun that still gives you a fighting chance against ARC in close quarters combat. Running on medium ammunition, this weapon keeps the machines and opportunistic Raiders at arm's length.
- Dolabra: The Dolabra gives Raiders a new way to punch through ARC armour plating in close range. This energy shotgun features a variable focus, allowing you to fire off a wide burst or a focused funnel of electricity. Head to the Close Scrutiny ARC Operation for the best chance of finding this Blueprint.
- Surge Coil: Better safe than sorry. Sometimes you need peace of mind that nobody is going to sneak up on you while you’re otherwise engaged. The Surge Coil is a deployable device that periodically electrifies its surroundings, shocking anything that drifts into its orbit.
Scrappy: Feeding Boost
The bond to your raiding rooster has been deepened, and you can now increase the types of loot Scrappy collects by feeding him particular items. Out of gratitude, Scrappy will also drop you some more valuable items so long as you continue to feed him.
Crafting Improvements
When crafting, Raiders will now be able to fulfil missing materials directly, reducing time spent jumping between tabs. When materials are missing, Raiders will be presented with a list of available sources, letting you recycle, refine, or purchase in a single window.
Shredders Let Loose
Shredders are out and about as they move into other maps from Stella Montis. While Embark emphasised the release of a new ARC, they are actually letting Shredders loose on other maps of the game.
New Map Condition
A new map condition is also coming to the game with the Flashpoint update. While Embark has not released any details regarding the map condition, you can expect to see a new mode like Hurricane with enhanced loot options.
