Pinocchio souls-like Lies of P is officially set to release in the month of August 2023, publisher Neowiz announced with a new, in-engine trailer.
Publisher Neowiz have revealed the official release month for the upcoming souls-like Lies of P , from developer Round 8 Studio. Lies of P will be launching this summer, in August for PC , PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 , Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S .
To celebrate the release window announcement, Neowiz shared a new, in-engine trailer that reveals a new character named Ergo and stunning locations, giving us a couple of new tidbits about the game's setting and story. Oh, and we got to see another boss.
The trailer also highlights how the actual creatures are the ones controlling the giant machines, which I find to be a lot more interesting than the "machines went rogue" plot.
Here is the release month trailer for Lies of P:
In addition to this trailer, we also got to see a short gameplay trailer at IGN Fan Fest 2023. It's only two minutes long but it still features plenty of detailed environments, monsters and action-packed moments.
All in all, Lies of P is shaping up to be quite an adventure judging by the trailers. Hopefully, we'll be able to say the same once the game is officially out later this year.
In case you're unfamiliar with Lies of P, it's a challenging action RPG, where you play as Pinocchio on a quest to find this Geppeto in a city crawling with all sorts of horrors.
