The ARC Raiders Shrouded Sky update marks the game's fourth major update, following the end of the Headwinds update, which introduced quite a lot of changes to the game. Embark has added a new Hurricane map condition, map changes, raider deck, weapon balancing, and some surprising crafting recipe changes.
As a part of the Shrouded Sky update, Embark has added a new ARC part requirement for some of the most-used quick-use items in the game. The new crafting change will hugely affect how the PvE aspect of the game will be handled going forward. Here's an overview of all the new item crafting changes in the Shrouded Sky update.
All New Item Crafting Changes in the ARC Raiders Shrouded Sky Update
In addition to new content, Embark has added new crafting ingredients to some meta quick-use items. As per Embark's update overview, they have stated that this change was made to balance up the cost vs. effectiveness of these quick-use items. Here's a look at all the new crafting changes in the ARC Raiders Shrouded Sky update:
- Deadline
- Value increased from 5,000 to 6,000
- The trader price increased from 15,000 to 18,000
- Added Comet Igniter as a crafting cost
- Trailblazer
- Value increased from 1,600 to 2,200
- Trader price increased from 4,800 to 6,600
- Added Firefly Burner as a crafting cost
- Wolfpack
- Value increased from 5,000 to 6,000
- Added Rocketeer Driver as a crafting cost
- Reduced Refined Explosive cost
- Vita Spray
- Value increased from 3,000 to 3,400
- Added Tick Pod as a crafting cost
- Showstopper
- Value decreased from 2,200 to 2,100
- Added Hornet Driver as a crafting cost
- Changed crafting component from Advanced Electrical Components to Electrical Components
While these changes might not seem like much on paper, players have not been quite happy with the new crafting material additions. Specifically, for the PvE items like Deadline and Wolfpack, the addition of the ARC part adds a new layer of struggle to player grind. Moreover, the new changes will surely affect how trials points are earned throughout all ranks in ARC Raiders going forward.
