The platform holder whipped the covers off its new Chroma Collection during the latest State of Play, featuring colour-shifting console covers for the PS5 Slim, as well as matching consoles and DualSense controllers.
There are three loud variants to pick from: Chroma Pearl, Chroma Indigo, Chroma Teal. The Chroma Collection is a PS5 Slim exclusive, tailored to stand in the light with dynamic, shifting hues that change with light and angle.
Chroma Pearl shifts between soft pink and cream shades, Chroma Indigo between deep blues and purples, and Chroma Teal between tons of green.
These color-shifting designs set an unparalleled, fashion-forward way for gamers to customize their PS5 consoles. The new DualSense controllers also share the same dynamic colour-changing effect and will retail for $79.99.
They're supposed to complement the new aesthetic brought by the PS5 Slim. The PS5 Slim console covers, on the other hand, go for 64.99 USD for a fancy upgrade, in case you want to give your console a new look.
Chroma Pearl and Chroma Indigo launch on November 7, 2024, whereas Chroma Teal becomes available starting from January 23, 2025. Adding in a color-shifting feature really amps the flair that players will have in their gaming setup.
