To no one's surprise, Sony and Guerrilla Games have officially announced that Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is real and coming to PlayStation 5 and PC platforms on October 31, 2024. As rumored earlier, the game was revealed at tonight's State of Play livestream.
The new remastered version of this popular action adventure, which sold over 20 million copies since launch, will include several major improvements including better lighting, improved textures and the Frozen Wilds DLC among other things. You can check out all the details on Sony's blog.

Many PlayStation fans would argue that the game didn't need any graphical improvements, especially on PC, where it looks absolutely stunning but Sony just love to give us the remasters that no one asked for, instead of giving us those highly-requested ones like Bloodborne for example.
