Palworld lands on PlayStation 5: Play before Nintendo takes action

Palworld, a popular survival video game, is now available on the PlayStation 5. It is currently in early access and can only be purchased digitally for €28.99.

Pocket Pair's popular game Palworld is officially hitting the PlayStation 5 today, joining the early access lineup available on other platforms.

Now, more fun for PlayStation players: They can catch them all-but we're talking Pals, not Pokémon. Until now available only on PC and Xbox systems, Palworld finally came out for the owners of the PlayStation 5 console.

The game is in early access and is available only in digital form for €28.99. In terms of content, Palworld also remains the same on PS5 as its brethren on other platforms, which is to say it still doesn't sport cross-play.

Within its world, over 100+ different creatures can be captured and put to work in various tasks. For any who haven't heard the buzz about the game, Palworld is a survival video game that already entails an audience of over 25 million in total across the globe.

It's a very special combination of survival mechanics with the collection of various creatures and monsters. However, it received some wild popularity due to how much this game resembles that of Pokémon, for which some of the creature designs are very strikingly like.

Nintendo even claimed that the developers infringed upon patented Pokémon mechanics, which can very well lead to legal consequences.

With Palworld starting to remedy that, finally, PlayStation 5 players can get a chance to join this weird game before the legal services do their worst in ending the fun.
