Destiny 2's Solstice of Heroes is kicking off next week and there will be a lot of grind and challenges to acquire upgraded versions of themed armour.

Solstice of Heroes will behave somewhat differently this week as players will not have to grind each glow separately. Instead, the glow will match their subclass, provided the player is willing to grind and dish out the necessary currency to get the armour pieces.

Everyone will start off with the rare version of Solstice armour. Just like before, there will be grind involved to upgrade it to the Majestic version. In the 2020 episode, the objectives for upgrading will involve:

  • Nightfall Ordeal on Master difficulty
  • Pit of Heresy completion
  • Nightmare Hunt completion
  • Tier 5 Altar of Sorrow completed three times
  • Seven Trials of Osiris wins (not limited to a single passage)

Here are already plenty of activities players will not like. Depending on what type of player they are, this could range from one disliked objective all the way to hating all five of them.

Upon upgrading the armour, players will be able to get the universal ornament from the Eververse. These ornaments can be purchased by either Silver or Bright Dust but the pricing has not been announced yet.

The ornament version can be applied to any other 2.0 armour piece, will have a different glow based on your subclass and will get a fourth glow when Beyond Light comes along with the fourth subclass.
