Resident Evil 2 Remake's biggest annoyance or the most interesting addition , Mr X, will reappear in Resident Evil 3 Remake. Normally this wouldn't be that big of a deal but considering Nemesis is around, one could think this is overkill. The catch is Jill won't be on the run from both.
Mr X gained infamy in Resident Evil 2 for being incredibly persistent, hounding Leon and Claire after incorporating surprise mechanics such as bursting through walls. No microtransactions required.
Some players found this to be oppressive for their Resident Evil 2 Remake experience but others thoroughly enjoyed Mr X's antics, going so far as to make a veritable treasure trove of memes as well as a series of videos , usually featuring DMXs' popular song in the background.
Whether you liked him or not, Mr X is going to chase players in Resident Evil 3 Remake as well. Since Nemesis is already chasing Jill and Carlos, this could be an overkill which is why the former will most likely not appear in singleplayer.
However, Resident Evil Resistance already teased the Tyrants being some of the Mastermind's arsenal against the survivors which means we will get to face Mr X himself, again. Therefore, if you saw Mr X on the screenshots of RE3 Remake's Steam page , don't be alarmed - Nemesis will still be the star of the show with his weird new look.
The full extent of both creatures' powers remains to be seen in R3make but it's hard to imagine Mr X getting any new cool moves as he is not exactly the focus of the story.
On the other hand, Nemesis will most likely not appear in Resistance either, since his programming is to hunt down STARS members, not random kids abducted by a creepy computer wizz.
If you are not sure that your rig can handle both B.O.W. creatures in a single game, be sure to check out the official system requirements .
