It looks like Nintendo are set to release another firmware update for their hybrid console Switch. The firmware version 11.4.0 has been spotted online.

Nintendo always stat that they are constantly aiming to improve the functionality of their systems and services in order to provide the easiest, most user-friendly experience possible. As a part of these efforts, they regularly release Nintendo Switch system/firmware updates that players can download.

The last update (v11.0.1) was released back in December 2020, correcting some of the issues that surfaced after the system update version 11.0.0.

The next one is seemingly just around the corner. Found by ResetEra member delete12345 the update 11.4.0 has been listed online, suggesting that a release date could be coming very soon. At the moment, the details about the update are non-existent since Nintendo are yet to officially confirm they will be releasing the patch but if the listing is indeed legit, then we won't have to wait for too long for patch notes.

Nintendo Switch owners always expect big updates with some sweet features, but before we get some solid info about the v11.4.0 update, don't get your hopes up. On the other hand, perhaps this is the update that brings much-requested features like Netflix support, Themes, folders and more. We know, this is just wishful thinking but that would really be one neat update for Switch.
