Ethan Winters, the main protagonist of Resident Evil 7 will be the central part in the story of Resident Evil Village according to the latest details. Apparently, Village will focus on Ethan's psychology, giving him a lot more presence.
It looks like Ethan Winters will have a central role in Capcom's upcoming survival horror Resident Evil Village. The main protagonist of Resident Evil 7, who is known as quiet and toned down character, is ready for the big stage, according to the latest details, shared by reliable insider Dusk Golem.
In Resident Evil 7, Capcom wanted to give more space to the crazy family of Bakers and it's safe to say that Ethan was not the central part of that story. However, in Resident Evil 8, this will change as Ethan is a more central player in the events transpiring in the game and is interacting with a lot more characters.
"In RE8, they not only went into it with giving Ethan a lot more presence, there's a lot more happening alternatively Ethan is directly involved in, there are more NPCs in this game than any other RE really, plus we're going in-depth with Ethan's psychology with the focus on hallucinations," Dusk Golem tweeted .
On top of this, Ethan has to deal with the villagers who won't trust him since he is an outsider, they will point guns at him and he will have to deal with their crazy beliefs, all while trying to escape, people dying and turning mad all around him.
Judging by the info, it is safe to say that Ethan is set for a more compelling lead this time around and we cannot wait to see how will this exactly play out. Hopefully, we'll hear more about Resident Evil Village's story soon.
Resident Evil Village is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X and PC in 2021.
