Korean publisher Pearl Abyss will be part of the Summer Game Fest, it's been officially confirmed. This suggests that a new trailer for Crimson Desert is just around the corner.
A new trailer for the highly-anticipating action adventure Crimson Desert could be showcased at Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest. A logo of Crimson Desert developer and publisher Pearl Abyss has appeared on the official Summer Game Fest Partners graphic, which was shared by Keighley on Twitter.
Pearl Abyss' logo can be seen among the logos of the world's biggest publishers like Xbox , PlayStation , Activision and EA . While Pear Abyss is yet to officially confirm their presence at the Summer Game Fest, the publisher have recently stated that they are carefully considering where and when to show the new trailer.
It does look like Summer Game Fest will be that ideal place and time. It certainly would not be surprising to see Crimson Desert at Summer Game Fest since Pearl Abyss and Keighley seem to have a good relationship as Crimson Desert gameplay was revealed at The Game Awards , Keighley's other show.
Hopefully, we also get the official release date as well as details on pre-orders and more insight into the characters and the story. The first two trailers really did a wonderful job of showing us the stunning open world and different zones so it wouldn't hurt to have a more focused story trailer.
Fingers crossed the performance looks smoother too, as it wasn't great in the previous trailers, especially during the combat sequences.
Crimson Desert is still targeting H2 2023 release date. It's expected to launch on PC , PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S , although Pearl Abyss are yet to officially confirm specific console platforms.
