Sony are rumoured to be hosting a PlayStation showcase in a matter of weeks so here's everything you need to know about one of the biggest's gaming shows this year.
After a long 18 months, PlayStation Showcase is rumoured to be returning soon. According to the reliable industry insider Jeff Grubb, the showcase will air sometime in the week of May 25, 2023.
This means we're just weeks away from one of the biggest gaming shows of the year, if not the biggest. Sony have been keeping a tight lock on the showcase so it's not really clear what they plan on showing at the event so your guess is good as ours.
However, it's not hard to predict that we'll see more of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 , Wolverine and a lot of surprises. Additionally, some rumours suggest Konam i will be there with their own lineup of games that includes a new Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake and more.
Obviously, you'll read a lot of leaks and rumours online in the next couple of weeks so make sure to take everything with a grain of salt, since many of them will be fake.
Personally, we'd love to see a reveal trailer for the highly-anticipated Mortal Kombat 12 and Cory Barlog's next game, which is rumoured to be a sci-fi action adventure.
Other than that, an update on what Bend Studio have been working on would be nice and of course, a nice surprise like Ghost of Tsushima 2 would certainly make Sony's event one hell of a show.
Sony's showcase will be followed by a whole summer of other gaming shows like the Xbox Games Showcase , which is officially scheduled for June 11 and Summer Games Fest.
Overall, it's going to be a pretty busy summer for video game reveals and announcements and we're looking forward to each and every single one of them.
