Pearl Abyss has announced Crimson Desert Enhanced on Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, surprisingly dropping a brand-new major update to its open-world action RPG. A new trailer reveals some additional story content, cinematics and dialogue to further flesh out its tale.
Pearl Abyss has given the game’s narrative some love with new cinematics, scenes, and dialogue. These were implemented to help the story flow better and allow bigger character moments to soak up more of the spotlight.
New voiceovers and Arabic text support are also being added in Crimson Desert Enhanced. Enhanced version will support full voice acting in French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Brazilian Portuguese. Arabic speakers will be able to play with Subtitle Dialogue options as well as menu/text translation.

Alongside the Gamescom ONL reveal, Pearl Abyss is marking the occasion by dropping the game’s first-ever sale across all platforms. You can pick up Crimson Desert for 20% off until September 9, 2026. It’s a great time for newcomers to take the plunge and dive into Pywel.
