Rajang will be the first bit of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne post-launch content. The monster will arrive as a free title update, sometime in October 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Capcom also released a new trailer for the ape.
Action RPG Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is just around the corner now and as players are getting ready to jump into the icy and snowy wastelands the developer and publisher Capcom are slowly starting to reveal what exactly we can expect from the expansion's post-launch content.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is set to introduce the first free title update next month, which will bring the angry ape Rajang to the game. Capcom teased the new monster in a brand new trailer, which revealed that Rajang will arrive sometime in October 2019 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Rajang is described as the pinnacle of physical strength and unforgiving aggression and judging by the trailer, he will be one tough opponent even for the most experienced hunters. Some players may remember the angry ape from Monster Hunter 2, where Rajang made his debut in Monster Hunter franchise.
The trailer also gives us a small sneak peek at Rajang's notorious "Rage Mode" during which the beast's fur rises and turns golden as Rajang becomes a truly special challenge.
Unfortunately, there is no mention of the PC release, but just like previous content, we'll have to wait a little bit longer before Rajang arrives to PC. It would be nice to get Rajang just a month after the official PC release but since we don't even have the exact release date for the PC version, it will probably take a while before Capcom confirm the first free title update for PC.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is officially releasing on 06 September 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The expansion will also arrive to PC sometime in January 2020.
