Capcom have officially confirmed that Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is set to receive its fourth Title Update on July 9, 2020. The publisher also announced a dev diary where they will reveal everything that will be coming in the new update.

Earlier this month, Capcom revealed that some of their free updates for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will have to be delayed for early July 2020 due to coronavirus pandemic. One of these updates was Title Update 4 (TU 4), which is set to introduce a ton of new content including the Blazing Black Dragon named Alatreon.

Today, Capcom have officially revealed the release date for this update. It arrives on July 9, 2020, to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and more details about the content drop will be revealed on Dev Diary 6 live stream where Capcom will also show us first gameplay of TU 4.

The live stream will officially go live on Friday, July 3, 2020, 5:00 AM PDT / 1:00 PM BST. In the meantime, you can check out the trailer for the new update, which teases the new dragon.

Of course, Alatreon is not the only addition in this major update. You can expect a lot more quests, activities and events as well as new armour sets and weapons. Make sure to tune in on Friday if you want to hear more about the update.
