Excellent action RPG Lords of the Fallen is getting several PlayStation 5 Pro enhancements, developer Hexworks announced today.
Joining over 70 confirmed PlayStation 5 Pro enhanced titles, this souls-like will introduce improvements to resolution and frame rate across both quality and performance modes.
Today's announcement also confirms more planned updates and enhancements for Lords of the Fallen across all platforms including Xbox and PC. Most of these enhancements are based on the player feedback so we should be getting a slate of great improvements.
Given that the current version of the game doesn't really run flawlessly on the PlayStation 5, the PlayStation 5 enhancements will certainly be welcomed.
Lords of the Fallen PlayStation 5 Pro enhancements
- 40 per cent increase in pixel density over the base PlayStation 5 console
- Sharper distant details and refined textures on characters and environments
- Quality Mode: Native 4K at stable 30 FPS
- Performance Mode: 4K, upscaled from 1440p with 60 FPS
In case you're unfamiliar with Lords of the Fallen, it's a reboot of the Lords of the Fallen from 2014. It features challenging combat and a dark fantasy world with intricate level design and spectacular boss fights in a true souls-like fashion.
Lords of the Fallen is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A sequel is officially in the works and should be coming sometime in 2026.
