Neowiz revealed what it will be like to play Pinocchio in Lies of P, more precisely - what it will be like to use powerful gadgets at his disposal.
The new gameplay trailer showcased seven gadgets that can be equipped with the Legion Arm in both non-upgraded and upgraded versions.
They are vastly different. For example, Aegis will let you block and parry enemy attacks while Flamberge is all about making them into shishkebabs.
Meanwhile, the Puppet String will let you control the battlefield by either pulling enemies towards you or pulling yourself towards them. In any case, it looks like a ton of agile fun.
If explosives are more to your liking, there are Deus Ex Machina and Falcon Eyes. The first one plants proximity mines and luring enemies into them is quite simple - just aggro them and kite through the minefield.
Falcon Eyes are more proactive since they are sticky mines that you shoot into enemies. They explode after a brief delay and can potentially bring down crowds if you place them well.
Fulminis allows Pinocchio to shoot short range shock blasts, which can be turned into a continuous stream of lightning damage after the upgrade. Granted, it seems like a powerful tool at his disposal but it also seems to disable all of his other attacks and actions for the duration.
Finally, Pandemonium is all about controlling the battlefield by spilling poison all over it and the video shows two distinct patterns you can choose. It is currently unclear whether there will be more options but the showcased patterns seem like plenty of area denial already.
