Neowiz Games today announced Lies of P: Overture, a prequel expansion to the Game Awards award-winning action RPG Lies of P, coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and PC in Summer 2025 video game consoles, plunging players back into the final days before the Puppet Frenzy, providing players with insight into where it all went wrong for Krat.
Set for expansion at P, it sees him meeting a mysterious Stalker who will send him on a quest to discover the grim connections between the city and its falling states.
Set in Krat blanketed by winter, Overture features several mysterious new places full of tales waiting to be unveiled.
It will be exciting to explore abandoned streets, boom buildings, and ice-covered areas since they add new layers of tension that will put players on edge. Not to mention, it all connects back to the catastrophic consequences from the primary game.
Overture brings along new combat experiences with challenging new enemies and dangerous bosses, and we have a glimpse via the trailer. Among the many disclosing enemies lies an enormous grotesque beast, a shark-like monster, a looming creature, and a man with two colossal flails.
The range of weapons that will be made available to combat these threats include a bow, a sword, and razor sharp claws.
Also P’s new weapons give shreds with swift precision. Developers have suggested that changes made from this expansion may impact the rest of the Lies of P universe.
This new chapter has been long-awaited - it can be added to the wishlist on Steam, and more details will be provided in the upcoming months, as mentioned by Game Director Jiwon Choi.
Overture is set to enable developers to delve deeper into the past and present of Lies of P.
