A week ago, Neowiz, the developers of the highly popular Souls-like action RPG from 2023, Lies of P, gave us a short trailer that revealed the first DLC for this game is coming in the summer of 2025, but the trailer didn't reveal much. We found out where the DLC will take place and had the opportunity to glimpse some new bosses, but no more than that.
That was the exact reason why the fans were relentlessly awaiting the new trailer that might shed some more light on the upcoming DLC. However, instead of getting answers, new questions started to pop up, and Neowiz again managed to pique our curiosity and set the hype on the highest level possible.
Who is the "legendary stalker" Lea? How is she connected with the Krat disaster? Will the DLC bring the answer about the mysterious character Dorothy from the ending of Lies of P? And on top of all, in the new trailer, we could see that Geppetto's puppet is fighting side-by-side with Lea. Will she be his sidekick or a partner in a new adventure? All those questions and many more are here to bother us until the DLC is released.
Among many questions that start to pop up among the fans on Reddit is whose bloody coat Geppetto's puppet found, and there are some very interesting theories. Some think that it might be Carlo because he died in the street in front of Rosa Estate, which is actually Monad Charity House showcased at the end of the trailer.
The other theory is that it might be Gemini, and Lea might be Gemini's partner. In any case, the story of Lies of P is a grandiose one, and the addition of the new DLC will just widen the lore and hopefully answer some questions that were left to be true cliffhangers at the end of the base game.
Lies of P: Overture, as we said earlier, will be released sometime during summer, and once it is out, it will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
