Jiwon Choi, director of Lies of P shared brand-new details about the highly-anticipated DLC of the Neowiz's game. Even though the release date was not shared, this didn't stop him from giving out some juicy news.
Ever since the teaser for the expansion was announced, fans have been terribly waiting to receive more information about it, and finally, even though the content is not ready, new material was shared. Over a million players leapt into Lies of P's dark reimagining of Pinocchio's tale last year.
Shortly after, developers announced an expansion that alone would be worth the cost of a full game, as well as that a full sequel was in store as well.
Among partial reasons for the delay into the DLC includes record-breaking summer heat where the dev team is based in South Korea.
Choi implored fans to be patient while they work through this. Despite the continued wait, it seems Choi has given a glimpse of what's in store. The director shared the first legitimate image from the DLC, with a brand new musical selection that will partake in the expansion.
Most of the information regarding the new content has been kept secret by the director, however, in which he mentioned the goal is to perfect the formula achieved in the original game and craft an even superior experience.
Although they didn't say a lot, the fans can wait for a team doing its best to iron out what worked best in Lies of P. Be it the development of the planned expansion or an already announced sequel to Lies of P, its future does look bright. Stay tuned for more updates from the developer of the game.
