Overwatch 2 features heroes from one to 64 years old according to the recently-added numbers on the official website. However, Blizzard appears to have just thrown some numbers around randomly as many of them don't make any sense.
It is hard to imagine they kept track of the lore when adding the heroes' ages because the inconsistencies now suggest that Sojourn's twin sister had a child when she was 14 for example.
Initially, it was implied Sojourn is in her 50s but the new entry on the official website states she is 47, which led to the issue. We are sure Blizzard will eventually try to spin this as raising awareness about teenage pregnancy but it is evident this was a major oversight at this point.
Unfortunately, the issues don't stop there. Kiriko and Genji were apparently childhood friends but according to their age on the website, Genji is 16 years older than her, meaning he was well out of his childhood by the time she got there.
A surefire way to tell that the devs didn't pay attention to the lore is the fact that they made Zenyatta 33 on the page even though he was 20 at the time of the original game. The gap between the games is just two years but he managed to age 13 years somehow. Maybe he and Ramattra were going to fight in an inter-universe tournament so they trained in a hyperbolic time chamber for a while.
If you were wondering who was the one-year-old I mentioned earlier, it is Echo, which is once again loopy. She was the last hero released in Overwatch but she was in the game. It means two years had passed since then and she is still one year old.
While not a fail on Blizzard's side, it is an interesting thing to note - the team's muscle and the biggest guy around is Reinhardt, who is the second oldest at 63, with only Sigma having one year up on him.
