Developer Neowiz has confirmed that Lies of P: Complete Edition will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on August 6, 2026. The Soulslike action RPG will launch on Nintendo’s new console as a complete edition, featuring both the base game and the story-expanding DLC Overture.
In the official announcement trailer, players are shown glimpses of Krat’s gothic scenery and spooky aesthetic. There’s not much gameplay featured in the reveal trailer, but fans can get a look at what the game will look like graphically on Nintendo Switch 2.
Throughout the video, players can see some important moments from the story unfold, a few menacing boss battles, and clips of the titular puppet character exploring Krat.
Lies of P was released earlier this year to positive reviews and player reception, drawing inspiration from the dark fantasy style to retell the story of Pinocchio. In Lies of P, players control a puppet crafted by Geppetto who comes to in the ruined city of Krat.
Players will explore the cursed city full of murder, violence, and insanity as they uncover the secrets of Krat’s collapse.Combat in Lies of P: Complete Edition centers around various blades that players can interchange with different handles to suit their playstyle.
Players can swap out weapon types to find a style that works for them.The story expansion DLC Overture will launch alongside the base game in the Complete Edition. This expansion sends players to an earlier iteration of Krat while introducing new areas of the city, as well as new enemies, bosses, and story elements.
Players can look forward to more challenging gameplay and atmospheric world-building this summer with Lies of P: Complete Edition launching for Nintendo Switch 2 on August 6.
