League of Legends is known for its steep learning curve, and a much needed big update to the Practice Tool is finally in store. More than 169 champions, hundreds upon hundreds of items, and complex game mechanics mean that even the most avid player has a rough road ahead in an effort to improve.

Riot Games first released the Practice Tool back in 2017. Practice Tool was a way to test a champion, item, or strategy within a single-player, controlled environment.

It's actually a very useful tool, but it has mostly felt really limited compared with other practice modes in most games. Over the years, Riot improved its functionality, but a key piece was missing-multiplayer capability. And with this update, that's about to change.

During a developer update recently, Riot announced the addition of the Multiplayer Practice Tool-a feature that has been requested since the original tool went online.

It finally lets multiple players join the same session; no longer shall the need for bots be required within practice. It opens up avenues where one could refine his strategy, test out champions' abilities, or just explore new mechanics together in a collaborative environment.

This is expected to hit the PBE servers soon and will most likely roll out to live servers with the start of Season 2025. This enhanced training will be more flexible and interactive, further closing the gap between casual learning and competitive gameplay.

League enthusiasts can finally start honing their skills and exploring champion mechanics with friends in ways they never could before. This is a further step by Riot in making League of Legends more accessible and engaging to players of all skill levels.
