More changes are coming to League of Legends in Preseason 2023!

The League of Legends Preseason 2023 is getting near. But before that, XP and Gold changes are announced. These changes primarily target top-lane and mid-lane champions.

The total XP and Gold adjustments obtained from different positions are one of the features of the improvements coming to League of Legends . When Riot Games makes these adjustments, they usually expect some growing pains and fine-tuning in the future. The following are the adjustments to XP and Gold in Preseason 2023.

XP and Gold are being changed in the mid and top lane. In terms of gold, it has primarily been the mid lane, while the XP change affects both the mid and top lane. Mid-lane minions will give 1 less gold for the first 14 minutes of the game. Mid Lane will receive 95% XP instead of 93% XP.

The top lane changes are quite the same as mid-lane XP changes but these changes should help top laners hit their power spikes earlier.  In terms of XP, it is also a slight increase, the same as for the mid-lane. Top Lane is receiving 95% instead of 93% XP.

Also, some changes were made considering the turret gold. Since the turret Armor is increased, the last 2 plates will be harder to take down. Rift Herald will play a big part in this as it deals true damage to turrets.

Early game playstyles will benefit from this. Turret Plate Gold is being changed from 160 gold to 175 gold each.

XP and Gold changes are also noticeable in the jungle as well. For XP improvements, junglers will receive more upfront XP to begin leveling to keep pace with other laners.

Bonus XP gained from jungle items is increased from 60XP>75XP. These changes are set to make League of Legends a fast-paced environment for gamers, as the game will be all about who gets ahead in the early stages.
