League of Legends ranked season ends on November 14. The League of Legends preseason 2023 is scheduled to start on November 16, 2022. It is time for you to learn the upcoming changes!

Patch 12.21 of League of Legends  was recently released, introducing K'Sante  as well as other minor improvements. These patches are intended to influence the game until the end of the year when Riot typically releases revolutionary changes.

We're already aware of the numerous modifications coming to the game. The Chemtech Drake and the Chemtech Rift are returning, and the jungle has changed with the inclusion of pets. In addition, the game will have a new ping and voting system.

The new Chemtech Rift will mutate jungle plants and upgrade their effects:

  • Blast Cones will propel you twice the distance in Chemtech Rift
  • Honey Fruits will change to Stim Fruits and give you a minor bonus shield alongside the healing while not slowing down champions
  • Scryer’s Bloom will upgrade to Stalker’s Bloom and it will grant movement speed towards spotted enemy champions and reduce revealed wards to 1 health

Also, Riot has announced that they will be adding new Avatar Smites alongside new Jungle Pets in the upcoming preseason of 2023. Riot did this to make the jungle role more playable.

Riot Games updated the old pinging system and added a new one too! The new ping system is only going to be used for vision. This ping system will have three features:

  • Vision Cleared
  • Enemy Vision
  • Need Vision

Changes are coming to the runes and abilities as well. Players can change their runes during the pick and ban stage of the game. Now, they will have recommended runes and summoner spells for the picked champion.

Riot will also include recommended ability systems for beginners. New players are usually unsure about which abilities to max first. This suggested ability feature should assist them in selecting the best skills first.
