The Ashen Knight skin line started out strong, with Ashen Knight Pyke, one of the best Pyke skins in the game. It was all downhill from there though, unfortunately.
Ashen Knights is a series of alternate future/universe skins in League of Legends . Set in a world where magic is gone, champions are corrupted knights who once served a legendary king, which Riot Games started out for the Mythic update.
The skins released took part in Mythic Rotations, and could be bought for Mythic Essence . However, due to the following skins being deemed as unsatisfactory by the fan base, the skin line is in a bit of a pickle.
The newest skin from the Ashen skin line has been leaked, and it's going to be Ashen Knight Mordekaiser. Due to Mordekaiser being a champion defined by his heavy armor, this should be a skin that is hard to do wrong, and we have great expectations from it.
Unfortunately, for now, that is all we're going to get from the Ashen Knight skin line for now, as Riot Games, as this will be the last skin to join the Mythic Rotation.
The skin line may make a return in 2023, as a regular skin line though. We just hope that, after the flop that was Ashen Conqueror Pantheon, and Shen Slayer Sylas, Riot Games will realize that we expect Ashen Knight to actually look like knights, and not just show abs.
