The last time a person of importance visited the Riot HQ, it was Lil Nas X, and our speculations proved true about him making a Worlds song. So, what is going on now?
Well, unlike when Lil Nas X visited it the last time for a song, this time it's a famous CEO, who may be working with Riot Games on a new game.
The game developer in question is Ikumi Nakamura, one of the creators of Ghostwire: Tokyo, Bayonetta, and The Evil Within. And ever since she left midway through developing Ghostwire: Tokyo, we've been wondering what she is up to.
Well, Ikumi Nakamura has founded her own studio, called Unseen Inc. and with games such as Ghostwire: Tokyo, Bayonetta, and The Evil Within we can safely say that gritty horror games are her forte, more than anything else.
Could this be Riot Forge's, a Riot company that develops Runeterra, next project? After all, we had Ziggs in a beat game, and a Nunu&Willump game is in the works.
And with so much League of Legends lore having gore and horror as parts of its charm, a horror game may be exactly what is needed.
Though perhaps we are just overreacting in the end, and she visited the HQ due to the World Championship. So, is League of Legends getting a horror game? We can certainly hope!
