We all know that League of Legends streamers, and streamers in general, attain infamy hand in hand with fame, and get allies that troll their games due to hate. Gambling, on the other hand, is a completely different matter, and Riot Games have not given the answer to this problem.
This is a problem that plagues all high-elo streamers, with Tyler1 being one of the most famous examples.
However, recently, LS, a big name in the League of Legends streaming community has taken on a website as a sponsor, one which hosts betting on high-elo stream matches.
This has caused a lot of backlash against LS since the sponsorship was revealed, however, he has now announced that the site in question will remove betting on League of Legends SoloQ matches.
Luckily, LS has not, it would seem, taken on the adage of "if you can't beat them, join them" and is still fighting against the things that are ruining the League of Legends ranked experience, and are forcing a lot of high-elo streamers to stop streaming.
As we all know, it's gambling on the matches that is the issue, it's the fact that the ones who gamble will try to snipe games and get on the team they bet will lose, to try and int the game ad force a loos.
If their snipe gets them on the enemy team, they will simply force a remake and make their bet get canceled.
