Nintendo: Must. Not. Give. Refund.

Well before his idea to run for president of the US, Kanye West thought about making a game, and even paid Reggie Fils-Aime a visit to talk about it. He declined, though.

Reggie told the tale on the Talking Games with Reggie & Harold podcast, which was caught by GameInformer, thankfully, because it's quite a good one.

West apparently stopped by the Nintendo booth at E3, which was a while ago, and even talked to Shigeru Miyamoto himself. He asked to meet Reggie and they eventually sat down for a meeting in West's fashion office.

Reggie, the good sport that he is, called the meeting interesting, although we'd bet it was a bit more than that. He distinctly mentioned that Kanye seemed to have "such a passion" for video games.

Fils-Aime mentioned that working with Nintendo would be difficult due to their high demands and meticulous quality control, to which he got a response that couldn't be more Kanye, "Reggie, you're exactly the type of partner I want because of that reason!"

According to Reggie, Kanye was looking for reactions to something he experimented with, so it's not like an actual product was discussed. Nevertheless, he was forced to decline.

"We had so many different projects at Nintendo going on, the possibility of doing something with Kanye just wasn't there, and so I had to find a way to politely decline this opportunity to work with him", he said.

Reggie definitely got one thing right, though - Nintendo like a tightly run ship, which is our way of saying that Kanye should probably look for development partners elsewhere.

Thanks, GameInformer .
