In League of Legends, while the primary goal is to destroy the enemy nexus, players have access to various secondary objectives on the map. These secondary objectives offer a range of advantages and enhancements to aid in achieving the main objective. Among these objectives, the elemental dragon holds significant importance.
Found near the bot lane of Summoner's Rift, elemental dragons, or drakes, grant substantial buffs to the team that successfully eliminates them. Furthermore, when a team manages to slay four dragons, they are rewarded with a dragon soul—a game-changing buff that increases the challenge for the opposing team to mount a comeback.
In the PC version of League of Legends, players can encounter six distinct elemental dragons: Mountain Drake, Cloud Drake, Ocean Drake, Infernal Drake, Hextech Drake, and Chemtech Drake. Each dragon bestows a buff that differs from the others, offering unique advantages to the team that claims their power.
Recently, Riot Games introduced a new addition to the dragon lineup exclusively in the Wild Rift version of the game: Ice Drake.
The Wild Rift community warmly welcomed this unique dragon, prompting fans to inquire whether it would be introduced to the PC version as well. Surprisingly, Riot expressed openness to the idea, indicating a potential future release of the Ice Drake in the PC version of League of Legends.
A Reddit user recently inquired about the possibility of the Wild Rift exclusive Ice Drake being introduced to the main PC version of League of Legends. RiotMeddler, a developer, responded that if the Ice Drake receives positive feedback in Wild Rift, they would be willing to consider bringing it to the PC version.
However, at present, the addition of new dragons is not a top priority for the developers. Their current focus is directed towards addressing gameplay-related issues for the preseason and delivering substantial updates.
