Rockstar won’t stop promoting GTA 6 at billboards and city landmarks just yet. The developer is partnering with the Miami Heat NBA team to bring Vice City to Miami.
By doing this, the team will be throwing down in honor of Vice City for a special game night prior to GTA 6’s launch.
Rockstar has made its intentions to truly turn Miami into Vice City very clear lately. A massive “Welcome to Vice City” billboard was recently erected overtop Kaseya Center in Downtown Miami, FL. Now the arena itself will be transforming into GTA for one night.
Miami HEAT To Honour Vice City With Special Game Night
Here’s what you need to know about Rockstar’s latest GTA 6 partnership.
Rockstar has transformed the Miami Heat’s court into what it’s calling The Vice City Court. The hardwood floor will be specially designed to match GTA 6’s setting, while the court itself will only be used for one night. Throughout the game night, fans can expect Vice City-themed activities and activations around the arena.
Along with decking out the arena, the Miami Heat will be ditching their traditional uniforms in favor of something a little more colorful. While details of the exact uniform haven’t been revealed, we do know that Rockstar designed a one-off uniform for the Miami Heat to rock on game night.
A variety of Vice City-themed swag will also be available for purchase at the Miami HEAT Store online and in-store. Some of the available merch includes T-shirts, a hoodie, crewneck, dad caps, and snapbacks. Pricing for the merchandise ranges from $45-$110, but the specially designed dad cap has already sold out.
