We will finally see Hogwarts Legacy gameplay later this week in a brand new PlayStation State of Play which focuses solely on WB's new title.
State of Play focusing on Hogwarts Legacy will go live this Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 2:00 PM PT / 10:00 PM CET. In the official announcement, Sony say that the show will run for about 20 minutes, featuring over 14 minutes of raw Hogwarts Legacy gameplay captured on PlayStation 5.
The show will also feature some insight from a few members of the development team at Avalanche Software. You can watch the show live on PlayStation's YouTube and Twitch channels.
Hogwarts Legacy was announced back in 2022 but since then, we haven't heard much from the developer. Last year, WB Games announced that the game has been pushed from its 2021 release date to 2022. We still don't have a specific release date but there's a good chance that we finally get an official release date at the State of Play later this week.
Despite having its PlayStation State of Play showcase, Hogwarts Legacy is not exclusive to PlayStation consoles and will be coming to PC as well as Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
Hogwarts Legacy is an action RPG where players will be able to create their own wizard, pick their own House and explore the large open world filled with all sorts of monstrosities from the Harry Potter universe.
