Rockstar has set a date for its next big Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay reveal. A lenghty video will surprisingly premiere on Netflix on Thursday, August 27 at 3pm ET, with the same video landing on Rockstar's YouTube channel and the official Grand Theft Auto VI site at 9pm ET.
An unusual Netflix premiere
Debuting a GTA trailer on Netflix rather than going straight to YouTube is certainly something we haven't seen so far but again, we don't see games like Grand Theft Auto release that often. For Rockstar, this signals just how much reach the publisher wants for this next look at the game. Fans without Netflix won't be locked out for long though, with the same Extended Look going up on YouTube and Rockstar's own site six hours later.
In terms of what we expect to see at this extended showcase, well, gameplay is certainly a lock. Perhaps a first look at one of the early game missions featuring the two popular protagonists, a bit of driving, shooting and the usual GTA stuff.
Platforms and release
Grand Theft Auto VI launches November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders are open now via Rockstar's site.
