Roundtable Hold apparently serves as a Firelink Shrine-like safe area where players can talk to various NPCs and upgrade their gear.

First details regarding Elden Ring's hub-like area have been revealed in the latest previews from influencers. Yes, the game will have a Firelink Shrine-like safe area where players will meet various NPCs and also get to use the services of a Blacksmith.

Named, Roundtable Hold, the area will have around seven NPCs, at least that's the number of characters in the early stages of the game. It's totally possible that more NPCs will join the room as players meet them through the game.

A Blacksmith is also in the area which will definitely come in handy for weapon reinforcements and other upgrades.

The Roundtable Hold hub area can be seen in the image above. This is the only screenshot of the area that we got so far. It shows a large roundtable with a big magical fire rising from a group of swords.

Previews describe Roundtable Hold as an incredibly enchanting and atmospheric area, and that gets us super hyped to finally play Elden Ring.
