Another patch for Elden Ring is now live and it brings various adjustments to the game's weapons, Ashes of War and spells. Some changes to PvP have also been made.

Developer From Software have today released a major new patch for their globally popular action RPG Elden Ring. The patch has introduced various changes to spells, weapons and Ashes of War.

Judging by the official patch notes, every single Ash of War got a boost, which should make using some of these a viable option. So far, Mimic Tear Ashes have been the preferred choice by every player but with the increased HP and other attributes, some Ashes of War could finally come in handy, if you're sick of your mimic.

There are also changes to PVP which some players probably won't like as there are nerfs to some popular equipment. Read on below for the full PVP changes.

Here are the changes made to PVP:

Gear

  • Increased poise damage of normal attacks for the following weapon types:
Light Great Swords / Backhand Blades / Hand-to-Hand Arts / Beast Claws
  • Increased poise damage of dual wield attacks for the following weapon types:
Straight Swords / Thrusting Swords / Curved Swords / Katanas / Spears / Whips / Fists / Claws
  • Increased poise damage of the Claws of Night throwing attacks.
  • Decreased the backstep invulnerability window when the Fine Crucible Feather Talisman or the Talisman of All Crucibles are equipped.
